Rainy Saturday Morning
Hello friends. I’m writing you today from my favorite rainy Saturday morning hangout, Stone Creek Coffee. The cinnamon rolls here are delicious.
The end of my work week was rough. I didn’t have the time to write. Here’s an update of my leisurely activities:
Tony and I went to Best Buy again. I purchased Air’s “Talkie Walkie”. Bryan and I saw them at the Rave a couple of months ago. They put on a good show. The CD came along with a “bonus” DVD. It was a short crappy behind the scenes video probably made by Air’s road manager’s nephew. I also bought TV on the Radio’s “desperate youth, blood thirsty babes”.
We ate at Kopp’s. Their flavor of the day was Chocolate Thunder. I’m not sure if it was endorsed or in any way related to Daryl Dawkins. Regardless, It was quite tasty. Tony and I ate fresh at Subway. We went to one of the locations that doesn’t put strands of their hair in the sandwiches. On “Tony picks the lunch spot” Day, we went to Robert’s. On the upside, it’s a block away from the office. On the downside, it smells like my Grandma’s basement and the food is kind of gross.
Last night, I picked up Sesame Chicken from Chin’s or “Asian Noodles and Co.” and watched a bunch of Family Guy episodes.
Today, I travel to Woodstock, Illinois. I should have a good Godfather story for you next week. Enjoy your Memorial Day.
