Van Helsing

Last night, I was in the mood to see a movie. It was between Troy and Van Helsing. I decided on the Hugh Jackman monster movie. My expectations weren’t very high.

I was surprised at how much i enjoyed myself.

Van Helsing is the type of movie that’s made to be shown at a Drive-In theater in the middle of summer. It has a ridiculous non-stop action pace, in the same way that eating a whole Fudge Brownie cake followed by ten Twix bars while drinking Yoohoo would be non-stop chocolate. Much of the acting is hilariously over-the-top, but that’s what the genre calls for. It was a good time at the movies.
