Father's Day Weekend

I’m looking forward to the weekend. My sister will be in town for a party at my Dad’s house. I rarely see her. It should be fun. I bought him the “24” season two DVD collection for Father’s Day. I gave him season one for his birthday last month.

Tony and I went to Best Buy to drop his computer off for repair. While we were there, Tony picked up the new Beastie Boys. “Ch-Check It Out” is a great tune. I picked up the Franz Ferdinand CD. It’s time to mix up the music rotation in my car. I’ve been enjoying The Shins “Chutes To Narrow”, The Sleepy Jackson “Lovers”, Air “Talkie Walkie”, and The Thrills “So Much For The City” for most of the spring.

My dining highlight this week was Georie Porgie’s. It’s a burger joint in Oak Creek that’s designed to look like a little kid’s tree fort. It’s pretty cool. www.georgieporgies.com Their Blueberry Pie custard was fantastic.
