The King

The audio commentary by “The King” (Bruce Campbell as Elvis) on the Bubba Ho Tep DVD is hilarious. Near the beginning of the movie, he tells the viewer, “I guess the premise is that they think the King is still alive somewhere. Well, i’ll tell you what, he is alive alright and he’s sitting right here, talking to you”. Between eating popcorn and taking a few calls on his cell phone, Elvis offers some of his thoughts. “Ossie Davis! I know him. He’s like a real actor. I wonder how they got him for this?”
