The Story of Everest

I bought a copy of the Mr. Show season four DVD yesterday. I’m a big fan of the series. This collection includes the funniest half hour of television i’ve ever seen, an episode titled “The Story of Everest”. If you haven’t seen the show, this episode would be a great introduction. It’s pure genius, especially the last two sketches.

I was having a conversation with a couple of friends recently about who is currently doing the best comedy. I thought it was between Dave Chappelle, Will Ferrell and David Cross. Rajan suggested Louis CK. There may have been a few others mentioned. My vote goes to Cross. His recent CD, It’s Not Funny is great. If you haven’t heard it yet, pick up a copy. It’s on iTunes.

That’s a tough one. I’d lean towards Chappelle, but they’re all good. Louis CK is just plain Genius.

There was a David Cross special on HBO last night. I DVR’d it, but haven’t watched it yet.

SO you are a trend setter, first you go to Spring Green and NOW John Kerry is going there….That is pretty special….

Yes. I know. I’ve been told that he reads my web log every day. He didn’t want to make it obvious that he takes his cues from me, so he’s staying at the House on the Rock resort instead of the Round Barn.
