Game Four 2004 ALCS

I watched the end of the Yankee/Red Sox game last night to see the Yanks celebrate another World Series birth. Instead of that I got an entertaining hour or so of extra inning playoff baseball. The best part was the replay of Mariano Rivera’s reaction to Bill Mueller’s single in the bottom of the ninth. The Brian Cashman “Oh…Shit” reaction shots during the same inning were priceless as well. Fox did a great job with the game, especially all of the pictures of the crowd. Red Sox fans praying, holding up signs that said “We Believe”, “Manny-fest Destiny” and “Oh, Please Jesus - Don’t Let Us Get Swept By The Yankees”. David Ortiz hit a homer in the twelfth inning to force a game five. All the Red Sox have to do now is win three in a row against the Yankees. Get ready for a lot of sad faces in Boston.

I couldn’t help but notice that you’ve been strangely quiet on this subject the last week…

Yeah, yeah… I was wrong. It was fun watching the Red Sox win it.
