Happy New Year
My New Year’s Eve was a blast. Connie and I had friends and family over to celebrate. Dan and Jen, thank you for that great cheese and sausage gift pack. You really shouldn’t have.
Speaking of great holiday gifts, here are some more of my favorite presents from this past holiday:
City of Heroes game for my PC - The greatest video game ever. This present from Bryan has been my obsession for the past two weeks. You can’t drag me away from it.
Among my gifts from Connie were some great DVDs, Stella Shorts, Criterion’s Slacker and Short Cuts. Les gave me the new White Stripes concert DVD. It’s similar to the set that he and I saw them play last NYE, minus a few songs like “In The Cold, Cold Night” and “I Just Don’t Know What To Do With Myself”. It’s a must have if you’re a fan of the band.
My sister Sue and her husband, Kory gave me boxes of Cookie Crisp and Honeycomb.
Amazon finally returned my e-mail regarding the yet-to-be-delivered items. In their response they admitted that if I haven’t gotten them yet, they’re probably lost and not coming. They refunded my money.
