Winter Wonderland Update

You’ll love this. Thursday when I got home from work I called Dylan a.k.a. “my lawn boy”. No one answered so I left a message saying that I saw the forecast and knew that we were expecting a tremendous amount of snow this weekend. I instructed Dylan to knock on the door after he was done shoveling in order to get paid. Friday morning Dylan’s mother called me back to tell me that he was out of town this weekend. Between Friday night and Saturday morning, we got about two feet of snow dumped on us. Guess who nearly broke his back shoveling? That’s right. Me. It was miserable.

On the bright side, Friday night I enjoyed a fantastic dinner in of all places, Mukwonago. Bryan, Dan and our investor friends had dinner at Heaven City. My N.Y. Strip was outstanding. Jen, thanks for driving us there. It was a brutal blizzard.

Saturday, Connie, her sister Julie and I saw Assault on Precinct 13. It was a fun movie in the way that Dawn of the Dead was a fun movie. It has many laugh out loud over the top gruesome violent scenes. Laurence Fishburne is very cool in this. His performance is worth the price of admission. It’s a worthy comeback after the last two Matrix movies.

Sunday night, Connie and I joined her sister and brother-in-law and my brother and his girlfriend for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. I didn’t order my own cheesecake. I just sampled everyone else’s.

Tonight, my Obi-Won, Tony and I got together for a couple of drinks at La Fuente. He and Marisa are doing well. He says to say hello. He’s such a nice guy, if only he’d stop making fun of retarded people all the time. It makes me really uncomfortable.

Guess who got a snow blower this weekend? Sounds like the lawn boy skipped out on you! Ha Ha!!!

Yeah, it was a real bitch, sitting in my condo (in front of the fireplace, no less) and looking out at the guy I pay to plow the snow from our lot. It looked pretty rough out there.

Thanks again Chuck!

Just keep talking to yourself at the bus stop if you are my friend.
