We’re back. I’m exhausted. The trip was outstanding. I’ve got some great stories and pictures to post in the coming days.
Here’s one quick memory to share before I catch up on some sleep:
One afternoon Connie and were leisurely strolling the streets of Paris’ Latin Quarter looking for a place to eat. An old hunched over woman, probably seventy-something, was walking her poodle in front of us at a snail’s pace. Her leashed dog was trailing her by about ten feet. She was taking up the entire walkway, making it difficult to pass her. Out of nowhere, a teenage kid passes Connie and I and kicks the dog. He then gave us a quick glance before crossing the street to walk on the other side.
