24

The first two seasons of 24 were amazing. The third season, while still good, was a definite step down. Unfortunately, this fourth season is taking another giant leap in the wrong direction. Don’t get me wrong, at times it’s still better than much of what’s on TV. The show is no where near its past greatness. This week’s episode took the cake. The way the show’s writers allowed Marwan to escape (again!) was ridiculous. Or, how about that last scene with Chloe and terrorist assassin? All I can do is shake my head.

I said you shut your mouth.

(Actually, yeah… that was pretty stupid last night. For a few moments, I thought Chloe was finally going to get killed off. Oh well.)

Great message throughout the season, too. “Anyone who opposes torture as an interrogation tactic would be a lousy American, a lousy crimefighter, and a lousy President.”

Like that kind of information would have made its way to a man who’s been “president” for 3 hours, anyways!

Ok, so I have never sat through an entire episode of 24. In fact, if I have seen a total 10 minutes of the four seasons of this show, I would be surprised.

I just can’t figure out why you are surprised that this show might get old. C’mon, HOW many times can ONE MAN save the world from Nuk-U-Ler disaster before it gets old? How many times can one man get shot at, without getting hit?

I thought you learned this lesson from Rambo I, II & III!

Exactly Other Dan. Lame, lame , and lame. I think I’m going to pitch another medical investigation and/or Doctor show to network TV. They’ll love it. 24 is so old hat.

Chuck! I finally saw the Chuck store at cafepress, Chuckfest is dead? For some glimmer of hope I thought it was still going strong and wreaking havoc at Miller Park. Will it ever return? When did it signoff? Why did you cancel? I know I haven’t been at the past couple ones, but damn!

Maybe it will rise again like the Phoenix from the ash to lay waste to a world of Bratwurst, sprecher, and Miller Park Blacktop………..

Sad, but true. Chuckfest is a thing of the past. Like all good things, it came to its end. The fest provided many happy memories that will live on forever in our hearts.
