Alex Rodriguez saved an 8-year-old boy from serious injury when he prevented the youngster from getting hit by a truck Thursday. “The kid was going to get run over. I just kind of put my arm out and stopped him,” he said.

It’s not like he jumped in front of the truck to save the kid. But put a Yankee cap on the guy, and he might as well have. He’s a hero! I guess…

If he got hurt Steinbrenner would kill that kid anayway even if he survived the truck.
