What Is It?
The Times Cinema is such a great place. I was looking at their website tonight and noticed a pretty cool announcement. They’re bringing in Crispin Glover this September to show What Is It? for a week.
Here’s the film’s tagline from imdb.com: Being the adventures of a young man whose principle interests are snails, salt, a pipe, and how to get home. As tormented by an hubristic, racist inner psyche.
If that doesn’t sound strange enough, the movie is cast almost entirely with actors who have down syndrome. If you’ve ever seen this guy interviewed, you know that he’s a bit out there. Glover will be present to answer questions after every showing. It should be really interesting.
