Battlestar Galactica

Bryan and Les have been talking up the Sci-Fi channel’s Battlestar Galactica for a long time. I finally got around to checking it out this weekend. Les gave me the miniseries for my birthday. I’ve gotten through that and about half of season one. Wow! What a fantastic show. I love the “cylons look like humans” update that this new version of Battlestar takes. It adds a lot of tension. That part reminds me of the movie “The Thing” as anyone could be a cylon. The characters are great especially Baltar and Six. Their scenes together are so good. I also loved the twist at the end of the miniseries. It really threw me. Outside of Star Wars, i’m not a big science fiction fan, but this show is good stuff.

it really does have more to do with politics and religion than ray guns and aliens. I hope you get a chance to watch season 1 before you get into the current season — which has been frack’n awsome so far.
