My Nephew Jake

My three year old nephew Jake was diagnosed with Autism last year. My sister Sue and her husband Kory are working hard to give Jake all of the attention that he needs. They found a fantastic school that specializes in educating Autistic children. Kory’s website gives updates about Jake and his progress.

To show our support for Jake and his parents, our family is throwing a fundraiser picnic for Jake’s school. It should be lots and lots of fun. We’ll have beer, soda, brats, burgers, corn, and vegetarian foodstuffs. The athletic types will be encouraged to show their skills on the Boca court.

It’s a very rare occurrence, but The Nice Person Club is also accepting members. If you show up to the picnic, you’ll gain instant membership with all the benefits. There’s even a secret handshake.

Speaking of my sister’s kids, Jake and his twin sister Kaley turned three last weekend. I was at their party to help them celebrate.

Awesome stuff Chuck, wish I could be there. These school’s and organizations are in the trenches whipping ass for a lot of kids and families and need all the ammo they can get as I’m finding. Nell and I are currently advocating and trying to launch a non for profit to assist Nell’s sister with care in Ozaukee County because of the lack of funding and suport up there. It’s mostly Nell’s show, but it’s a hell of a fight so everybody should get out to Jake’s school thang and swill beer for good instead of evil.

Thank you Chuck for putting this together for Jake! Kory and I are very excited about the picnic. Words cannot express the appreciation we have for all of your effort!
