Buchs Wedding

Congrats to my good friends Bryan and Judy Buchs on their fantastic wedding. Judy looked amazing. The venue, Hubbard Park lodge, was very classy. The band was great. The bride and groom even let me say a few words during dinner. A wonderful evening was had by all.

Some of my favorite parts from last weekend:

  • getting hustled at the poker table by Bryan’s mom after the rehearsal dinner.
  • the band’s rendition of “Brick House”
  • telling Judy’s dad, a proud German man, the history of Boca ball
  • The similarities between Minister Jane’s “Choose Love” and Wham’s “Choose Life”
  • The couple and how great they looked, actually the entire wedding party looked pretty damn good too.
  • Those servers with the bottles of wine. They did a great job making the rounds.
  • Thankfully, No Chicken Dance.

Thanks Andy. FYI, Leah quit Hubbard Park the week before our wedding/after yours. Too much Sout’ Side Power for her to take.
