Drakkar Noir
Paging through a men’s magazine this morning, I noticed that many of the publication’s advertisers really wanted me to buy either vodka, a fancy wrist watch or cologne.
I could use a new watch and occasionally enjoy a vodka drink, but cologne?!! Does anyone wear cologne daily anymore and if so why?
Back in the day - my senior year of high school - I thought I was cool as ice. I carried a bottle of Drakkar Noir in my jacket pocket, so I could Drakkar myself whenever I needed to. One time I even broke a bottle of it in my gym bag. For weeks I would stuff my best clothes into that bag to soak in the handsome smell.
These days, I am usually content with body wash and deodorant. I smell pretty good too.
