A few things to look at on this gloomy Monday afternoon

Here are a few things you might want to check out if you have nothing better to do.

  • Boggle is one of my favorite games. Here’s a free internet version.

  • My Dad forwards me all of the “funny” e-mails that he’s been sent by former work associates. Today he sent me one titled Sons Who Make Their Daddy Proud. It’s a collection of pictures featuring youngsters doing inappropiate things. There was one picture that I did find funny though. When I saw this I thought, “That could be my Mini-Me!”.

  • When The Flaming Lips tour this summer, I’m hoping to see a few of the shows. The new disc is fantastic, especially its first single, “The W.A.N.D.” I caught them a few times on the last tour and have never been more entertained by a band in concert. They’re starting to announce some dates for the new tour and have put the show at the Hollywood Bowl on sale. Andy, you should go to this.

  • How about this iPod cover? Kind of dorky, but very cool, right?! I think I might pick one up.

  • One of my favorite movies last year was Me You and Everyone We Know. If you missed it, rent it on DVD. It’s so great. Here’s a link to one of the movie’s more amusing scenes.

If you like the Boggle - which is not my thing, baby - check this out:

You can play online against other people in real time.
