DC Trip - Part Two
Here are the rest of the highlights of my trip to Washington DC:
A matinee of Neil LaBute’s play Fat Pig at the Studio Theatre.
Harry’s, a restaurant in the Federal Triangle (across from ESPN Zone)- Fantastic burger!
The Birchmere, a really cool music venue in Alexandria. We saw underrated singer-songwriter Josh Rouse.
Museums, museums and more museums - My favs were the International Spy Museum and the Holocaust Museum.
I was a little museum-ed out one afternoon so I saw the Beastie Boys concert movie, Awesome, I Fuckin’ Shot That!
Ford’s Theatre , where Abe Lincoln had one of his worst theater experiences. Here’s a picture of yours truly posing in front of the theater, not that I condone presidential assassinations or anything.
