American Gladiators

I wasn’t planning on watching it, but 8:00 came around and there wasn’t anything else on…so I gave it a try. It’s exactly the way I remember, but with Hulk Hogan and without Larry Csonka. I wouldn’t say that I like the show as much as I’d say I admire it. It’s so ridiculous.

The best parts of American Gladiators so far are:

• Wolf - Is it just me or does he look like Ben Stiller’s Dodgeball character? That howling thing is so great.

• Hellga - Guess what?! I got a fever, and the only prescription… is more Hellga. Click here to meet the woman most likely to haunt America’s nightmares for as long as the show runs.

• Hulk Hogan - He’s the best, brother! Eat your vegetables, brother!

OK, after watching The Graduate in HD, I flipped over to see the end of American Gladiators. I was transfixed - I could not take my eyes off the screen, because I could not believe what I was seeing - and ended up watching the next hour of the show, too. And I’ll probably watch tonight’s episode.

Ridiculous is not strong enough of a word.
